What monitor are you using?

Personally Im rocking a dell ultrasharp 2408wfp and I couldnt be happier.
The resolution is still plenty sharp and the input options here are simply unmatched by any Ive ever seen on any monitor. seriously what monitor do you know of that supports not only every modern input but also has component, s-video, and composite.

  • AOC I2757FH. Entirely decent budget minded monitor. Not great color out of the box but it has enough adjustment to be pretty solid.27" IPS Says it's 60mhz runs at 75. Not a "gaming" monitor but it does ok even at that but it's a solid productivity monitor. I've been using it for light amateur photo editing and some gaming and am entirely happy with it. Is a bit weird in it's inputs. Two HDMI, and a VGA. No display ports, no DVI. But I like it. Plus it just looks classy. Brushed aluminum base stand and chin, if you don't like the stand it stand mounting mechanism functions as a table stand it self.
  • LG 27ud68-w 27" 4k IPS 4ms. I would highly recommend any good IPS monitor.

Using Samsung p2350 for almost 7 years now, but i think it's going to "retire" soon, some light lines in the lower right corner started to appear, but great monitor for it's age.

Good luck on that front. They werent around long and I imagine most of them were installed. They were 200 dollars or so when they came out. Frankly at this point you'd probably be better off selling your monitor and buying a g-sync replacement. Would be cheaper, less of a headache and well...possible to do.

    AOC 2752VH 27 inch 1080p 60Hz.
I picked this up over two years ago for about $150, and at the time AOC was considered an off brand and not respected. I haven't had a single bad pixel, so I think AOC is a deal with their pricing.

Just purchase a slightly used cf 591. I'm not a huge fan of going to another 27" 1080p panel. But this is a freesync monitor. Despite being SVA it's supposed to have better color accuracy than any of my current IPS panels. So looking forward to seeing what it can do.

I'm actually thinking of getting a smallish CRT to play some old consoles/Atari ST/Amiga on. Obviously the only problem is space.

Still very happy with my qnix 2710 for my main monitor though, 1440p and will overclock to ~100htz, for the money it's sweet.
